Cloudflare hosts the Auckland Cyber Community Incident Response Workshop

Last week, the Auckland cyber community gathered for a full-day event titled Diary of an Incident Responder.

The event was sponsored by Cloudflare to support the local cybersecurity sector.

The workshop provided an opportunity for cyber leaders to explore practical incident response strategies.

Incident responders play a critical role in managing and mitigating cyber attacks, often working under pressure to protect organisations from lasting damage.

Cloudflare’s team played a key role, including Prayna Prasad, Amanda Spencer, Jono Morgan, Angelique Grieve, Damian Bruce, John Grigson and Ciaran Bolton.

Content for the event was provided by Notion Digital Forensics, a group known for delivering real-world cyber investigation insights.

Participants from the community included Raunit Jaiswal, Zihong L. and Gourav Jain Dowaria.

Community events like this help build resilience by fostering knowledge sharing and collaboration among cyber professionals.

Those who attended are encouraged to make contact for acknowledgements.
