Breakout groups examined common trends in cybercrime affecting procurement operations.

The discussion brought together diverse industry perspectives on cybersecurity challenges.

O'Kane shared a case study on intellectual property theft, providing concrete examples of the challenges facing procurement professionals.

The panel also included Angela Connolly, chief procurement officer, Nathan Morgan, general manager group procurement at Woolworths Group, and Nikki Symonds, Origin Energy chief procurement officer.

The develoP event was an action-packed afternoon focused on professional development, covering individual resilience management, economic updates with current data, cyber threat discussions with experienced panellists, effective negotiation techniques, and networking and breakout conversation sessions.

The event was hosted by co-founders William Bailey FCIPS and Angela Connolly at the UNSW PolyCentre.
