New cybersecurity management major at UNSW Business School: a collaborative approach to cybersecurity education
We’re excited to share that Matt O’Kane has been invited to contribute his experience to the upcoming Bachelor of Commerce (B. Comm.) Cybersecurity Management major at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Business School. This innovative program, set to be made available to undergraduate students soon, is designed to foster professionals equipped to lead teams in the rapidly changing cybersecurity landscape.

About the Major
The Cybersecurity Management major at the School of Information Systems and Technology Management at UNSW Business School has been developed to meet the evolving demands of the cybersecurity landscape. This program equips students with a comprehensive skill set, blending technical expertise with essential soft skills. We offer a collaborative learning environment where students can gain hands-on experience with the latest technological practices. They’ll be armed with the knowledge and tools they need to tackle cybersecurity challenges and make a positive impact in our digitally interconnected world.

UNSW plans to launch this course in 2024. We’re looking forward to contributing to the development of the next generation of cybersecurity leaders.
